Yeah I agree. For now I cannot get the license as I will be getting sound
packs and stuff, but I cannot wait to try this out. I'm really looking forward
to hopefully one day making this a replacement. The more of us that can over
time get MCE I think the developers will be willing to work with us. This is
exciting and the right time for me to pursue my own personal project locally
here. I am very excited about this.

At this point, no one is proposing replacing IYP with MCE. It's not
even close to that with the BVI functionality yet. My whole point with
this post is that if no one ever uses/and or try to help the developer
with BVI mode, it'll stay implemented in a half-ast state. The BVI

didn't want to work with blind people, or wasn't receptive or trying

Heck, when i originally made the post, the developer didn't respond
because he thought there were more people using the BVI mode, so

bought a license would do us all a great service and try it and start
using it with the next update is out. Better takeoff support, plus PF3

Can we land yet? No, but this should be the start of a better BVI mode
for MCE. I'm tired of being limited by the same old aircraft and IYP
syncing issues, autopilot disconnecting issues that I haven't had yet
but my friends have, IYP VA lagging when I go to install a plan from
it, or simulator crashing after loading one, even on low graphics...
and there's no way to restore those IYP VA plans either after a
simulator crash. It crashes, when reloaded it won't sync up with IYP
central server.
It's getting frustrating and IYP needs more than to be maintained, as
there's just problems that are happening that simply shouldn't be
happening, at all.

The answer to that question is, quite frankly, a lot.
1. Intigrates with far more third party aircraft's and addons, Ground
Services X being one of the cooler addons that I doubt IYP could work
around due to how it is designed.
2. It's getting updates and support: I understand Robert had to stop
this for multiple reasons, but I'd prefer to use software that is
updated on a regular basis--IYP could update aircraft's every once in
a while if life is preventing everything else.
3. The next update is getting BVI mode improvements plus, and here's a
big one, PF3 support: I told the MCE developer that I was having
issues with taking off, and he'll be adding some stuff to the BVI mode
to help with flap retraction, etc.
4. The MCE interface is way easier than IYP's to navigate: None of the
focus issues with IYP happen with the MCE interface. No lag either.
Granted, there is a few more things that IYP can do that MCE can't
that I hope to address to him soon, like adding distance/direction to
airport commands, etc. That, and giving altitude information because
the default aircraft don't have a talking radar system like some of
these third party aircraft.
Is it usable yet? No, but you'd be surprised what a committed
programmer can do with frequent updates, and help from people like us.
Some of you bought it, so those of you that did should help with this
effort and support improving the BVI mode in other ways than just
telling him to "implement auto-landing".
