I will generally pushback 100ft unless I am very familiar with the airport and
can pushback further and either right or left without hitting anything I don't
know about.

Subject: [bvipilots] Pushback
Hi All,
I’m wondering about the pushback system provided by IYP. I understand that its
intended to add some realism, and that larger airliners in particular use
pushback sometimes to move away from the gate.
Do any blind pilots use it? I decided to on my most recent flight, and apart
from a perhaps slight increase in departure time it didn’t seem to matter. Is
it possible for the aircraft to inadvertently crash into an obstacle if the
tail is pushed back the wrong way?
Thanks for any thoughts,
