Hi
Haylie, from Ron Kolesar.
This is a weird issue.
Because at a fl of 360, you shouldn't be starting your descent until roughly
120 miles out.
Sorry I can't be much more help.
But there are smarter subscribers on this list than I am.
So, here's hoping you'll get a answer soon.
Keep The Blue Side Up.

Subject: [bvipilots] PF3 problem
I have found a bit of a PF3 problem. I am being told to switch to Approach
way too early. For example. I am doing a flight as I right this from JFK
to KMIA at a cruising altitude of Fl360. I was just told to tune to
Approach while still at cruise altitude at 203 miles from the airport.
Anyone know how to correct this weird behavior from PF3?
Thanks,
Haylie
