Haylie,
What happens when you just tune into the approach frequency as requested? It’s
possible that you’ll be handed off to several “approach,” controllers as you
get closer to the airport. I don’t know if it’s a problem that can be
corrected, you might have to work with it if you want to stay with PF3.
Best,
Zack.

I have found a bit of a PF3 problem. I am being told to switch to Approach
way too early. For example. I am doing a flight as I right this from JFK to
KMIA at a cruising altitude of Fl360. I was just told to tune to Approach
while still at cruise altitude at 203 miles from the airport. Anyone know
how to correct this weird behavior from PF3?
Thanks,
Haylie
