Hello Ron,

REGARDING: The doors issue.

There is no longer any issue with the doors. I have tested both
phrases, "Do all checklists" and "Pre-flight checklist", with both FS9 and
FSX simulators, on XP, Vista and Windows 7 platforms. In addition, I have
had 3 other sighted pilots test the same start up sequences, and all report
that there is absolutely no problems with the door. Thus, I need you to
explain to me precisely what happens, or does not happen, when you bring
up the 737-800 test flight and say the phrase...

"Do all checklists"

As an aside, how do you know the ascertain the state of the doors? Please
explain.

REGARDING: Your keyboard getting locked up.

Sorry, but I cannot be of any help in this area. I wouldn't even know where
to start, because I have never heard of this problem until today. Perhaps
one of the gang can help you with this one.

REGARDING: It would be nice if our trusty fo would say something like we
just left the runway. Would it not?

As I have explained in my previous communications, this already exists.

Here's an excerpt from my log:

Mike said: Captain, we are taxiing to gate, one, zero, 04:12:01
Mike said: Do you want me to run through the taxi to the gate or ramp
checklist? 04:12:08
==========================

You will note the following:

Mike said: Captain. We are clear of the runway. 04:10:48

The reason why you are not getting any ground communications, is because
you have never as yet received clearance to land by the Tower on any of the
flights you have conducted. according to the log files you have sent me.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Robert
