qHi Robert.
first the good news.
The headset microphone allows me to run through the Petter dictates to his
computer.
So on and so on speech.
I can say next and I can say finish and it does hear me.
Now for the bad news.
Now this might be because I’m only firing up IYP without first lanching FSX.
I probably should try to fire up FSX first.
But the bad news is that when I launch IYP, I get the speech error 5 error
message.
Now why would it hear me with one end but not if I go to luanch IYP?
Thanks Robert.

Another call for help.

Hello Ron,

If you are receiving an error starting the speech recognition system via IYP,
then you have a microphone connection problem. Forget about IYP and go directly
to resolving the microphone issues. Here's a video that might help:

  Thanks for writing back HAdi.
I was starting to think that my BVI pilot friends was not liking me anymore.
I'm now also having speech input error 5 problems now.
I pulled everything to deal with speech input and attempted to create a new
speech input profile.
But the moment that I go to fire up IYP I get speech input error 5.
Any help on at least trying to fix this error.
Now I was told to try two things to try and get the VA flights in the VA
pannel to play nice once again with jaws.
  1. to simply turn jaws off and then back on.
  2. to go and click on repare.
Now I fI clcik on the repair to fix JAWS.
Would have have to reinstall the authorization code?
Or can I just click on repare and hope that jaws will fix itself.
Because the JAWS ver 14 is in my brother's name.
So don't want to attempt to reinstall the authorization code since it can be
a huge headacke.
So I now can't even access IYP for have no problems firing up FSX though.
So any and all advice is welcome.
  A huge huge thanks.

So yeah as the subject says
I'm also getting frustrated to a point that i was crashing my keyboard
  keys.
Basicly jaws locks up at the options window as well
I need to press the update local airport database but i can't.

    For jaws users once again.
I really don't want to try a roll the clock back once again.
The only thing JAWS is not seeing and I don't know why is the va pannel
once it is opened.
I use the voice command open VA pannel.
After that I can't tab into the flights, I can't down arrow down through
the flights to select the flight and I can't even use the find command to find
a flight.
I can fly my ga private flights but if I can't see the iypva flights I'm
screwed.
Would anyone have any advice why Jaws for some weird reason now isn't
seeing the flights in the va pannel?
    Thanks.
