Hey guys,
We got the stupid ladder to fit, many thanks to everyone who worked hard on
it.
*Friday (TOMORROW)*
We can use all hands on deck starting at 9am tomorrow in the wind tunnel.
We'll be doing assembly prepping for the cold flow on Saturday. We're doing
a dry run of the whole thing in the afternoon, targeting 4pm.
*Cold Flow (Saturday)*
As for actually going to the test, we have space for 15 people (see below).
We don't really want to take more than that even if we were able to get
more cars, as too many people on site in the past has been an issue and
people stand around freezing with nothing to do. There will be lots of
opportunity to go to hot fire testing in the spring semester.
*Weather Report:*
High of 18 degrees, chance of snow showers in the afternoon. It's chilly
but you're moving around a lot and working hard so you don't really notice
the cold. Proper attire:
- Undershirt, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, light jacket, heavy jacket
- Pants you don't care about getting dirty
- Boots
- Warm hat
- Scarf
- Gloves
- Bring water and snacks
