Local Notice to Mariners 06 of 2018
Diving Operations on Obstruction in River Arun Near Ford Marina
MARINERS ARE ADVISED of diving operations taking place on the submerged
obstruction 300m south of Ford Marina previously marked with a temporary buoy
(LNtM 05/18 refers)
Diving operations will take place from the harbour’s workboat ERICA,
throughout the day on 18th June 18.
All vessels are to keep well clear and may not transit the area while divers
are in the water. ERICA will fly FLAG ALPHA while divers are in the water
and be listening on VHF Ch 71 throughout operations. All vessels are to
monitor VHF Ch71 for any instructions.
Owners, Agents, Charterers, Marinas, Yacht Clubs and Recreational Sailing
Organisations should ensure that the contents of this Notice are made known
to the masters or persons in charge of their vessels or craft.
