BIRD STUDY GROUP I figured that the loon was a bit late and sure enough, ebird flagged it. Have seen a loon at Kincaid Reservoir a couple of times now since late March but hadn't found one all through the fall and winter. Just saw a flash of white in rough water and saw the loon momentarily before it dove. Didn't even see it with binoculars. A bit later, I saw it resting on the surface. Can't seem to buy a Bank Swallow this spring.
