BIRD STUDY GROUP Took my wife to Arcadia so she could chase ancestors in the new courthouse. Went to Kepler Creek Lake to see if I could add anything to my Bienville Parish List. Well, it was not a good day to bird with very high winds and birds were pretty much quiet in the noon hour. Still, it was a nice visit. Missed roadrunner although habitat between Arcadia and Castor and between Arcadia and Jonesboro seemed pretty good for roadrunner. Of course, roadrunners don't move much during the day. Added a few parish life birds with the trip. Not sure about the road to Kepler Creek - maybe it was LA 157. Will have to check.
