I’m willing to save us $300 by putting the fee on my credit card, if desired.
I yield to the captain on how we register on the app.

Subject: [brownshockey] Re: Fall season, who is in?
The biggest thing is probably the requirement to pay in one lump sum ($2000) or
we pay a 15% surcharge ($2300).
The next most annoying thing is some sort of website registration requirement
so NBC can sell our information. I am not opposed to registering everyone
myself using junk e-mail addresses. The added annoyance of some sort of phone
app based monitoring just makes it worse.

From Tom:
"Fall is here and our Fall season is getting closer. Here are the details for
Fall 2019
Season starts:
Sunday 9/29/19
Season ends:
Monday 12/23/19 (Finals for D3,4,5,&6)
There WILL be a Saturday Hockey Day on Saturday November 2, 2019 starting at
9am.
Please let me know by Friday 9/13 if you plan on playing in the Fall and what
division you would like to be placed in. I will still have final say in where
your team plays. ALso please tell me preferred game days/times. As a refresher;
D1/2 play primarily Tuesdays, D3,4,&5 split Sunday/Monday, D6 plays primarily
Sundays. This does not mean you sign up to play on a "day", you will still be
placed at the skill level I deem fit. In December there WILL be 11pm games on
Sunday/Monday/Tuesday. I will do my best to limit each team to only ONE 11pm
for the season.
Some other stuff to know:
1. The Fall season will be our first season on The Sports Engine platform.
ALL teams will need to submit a roster and ALL players will need to register on
the site. The site comes with an app as well. It is owned and operated by NBC
Sports, so it isn't going anywhere anytime soon and has a lot of good features
like allowing the league to message full teams, select teams, and individuals.
PLUS, your team will have a team chat option within the app. ALL schedules,
stats, and standings will be located here as it will be the FULL website for
Inline Morristown.
2. Payment. A few seasons ago I tried to push everyone to pay as a team and not
individually.....there were multiple reasons for this.....starting in the fall
ALL teams will be required to submit lump sum payments to get the $2000.00 team
fee. If teams wish to have their players pay individually the team fee will be
$2300.00. As far as second-team discounts go, beginning in the fall, ALL
second-team discounts are now a flat $50.00. No more figuring out how much 25%
of 187.50 is. Every player is eligible for only ONE second-team discount. This
makes it easier for teams to calculate what they need to pay in their lump sum.
Checks, Credit Card or cash are acceptable forms of payment for your team fee.
Please be aware, even if your team ALL comes in together with individual
payments on the same night, the team fee is $2300.00. With Venmo, Zell, and
Paypal, you can have guys pay you directly and pay us in a lump sum. If you use
PayPal and collect your team funds that way, you can pay us via PayPal. Ask me
for details and the email address to pay. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD
PAYMENTS VIA PAYPAL for league registration.
3. We still have a problem with guys playing below their skill level. I have
left it up to you in the past, and obviously the message hasn't sunk in. ANY
player that plays in D1 is INELIGIBLE for any division below 2 ( or 3 if there
is no 2). D6 is going to be a 'roster approved' division moving forward. Even
if you have ONE player that isn't D6 eligible you will be moved UP to D5. I try
hard to place teams where they belong and one guy in D6 can swing the outcome
of a game. I have made mistakes in the past, and I am sure I will continue to
do so, but understand that if you drop a guy in that doesn't belong, I will
forfeit any games he played in and not allow him to play future games. If YOU
collect money from him, YOU will need to refund it. It will NOT be our
responsibility.
4. Captains, PLEASE check the scoresheets after your games. If a player is left
off he does not get credit as being present for the game. You can't come back
in week 12 and say 'so and so played week one but wasn't on the scoresheet' so
they become eligible. Once a scoresheet is entered into the system, it is FINAL.
Hope to see everyone soon."
