BUG BUSTING WEEK

Did you Bug Bust? Hopefully your Child?s Bug Busting form has been completed
and you have sent it back to school. If not, tomorrow is the last day for
the form to be returned, as we are giving those children who have returned
their forms their ?treat?. So please have the form sent in by tomorrow ? and
a big THANKS to all those who have already sent theirs in!

SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS

Time to spruce up that uniform and brush the hair as it?s Photograph Time!!
Tomorrow morning, in the hall, we are having our annual Family and
Individual school photos. If you would like your pre-school child in the
children?s photo, please bring them into the hall between 8.45 and 9.00am.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

We are holding our Harvest Festival celebration on Thursday 2nd October in
the school hall at 2.30pm. If you would like to join us for the celebration
you are more than welcome! And as we think about the time when crops are
harvested, and think about those who perhaps do not have as much food as us,
we would like to ask you for a ?Tin donation?, whether it?s beans, spaghetti
hoops or peaches. These we will then distribute into our community.

JEANS FOR GENES DAY

This Friday the school is raising money for the ?Jeans for Genes? charity, a
worthwhile cause which gathers money to help children who have genetic
disorders. To help raise a donation, we are asking children to wear their
usual school uniform on their top half, and school shoes, but to wear jeans
or denim skirt or trousers on their bottom half. For this, we ask each child
to contribute a minimum donation of 50p towards the ?Jeans for Genes? day.
If we all do this, we could raise at least £80 for the charity!!

Last week Mrs Hughes took the Praise Assembly. The children who sat on the
bench were:
