[Bristol-Birds] saw-whet owls on Roan Mountain at Carver's Gap

Two Northern Saw-whet Owls were head Friday, 11 April 2014, at Carer's Gap
on
Roan Mountain along the Tennessee / North Carolina line a little after 7
p.m.
The birds were heard by Cathy Myers, Tom McNeil and Darrel Wilder. One bird
was heard just across the line in the Pisgah National Forest of Mitchell
Co.,
NC and a second was heard in the Cherokee National Forest on the Tennessee
side of Carver's Gap in Carter County.
