[Bristol-Birds] Sunday birding in Burkes Garden, VA

Clancey Deel, of Richlands, VA, birded Burke's Garden in
Tazewell Co., VA early this morning. He spent about 3 1/2 hrs. in
the field and reported a nice list by 8:30 a.m. He traveled 19 miles
along Gose Mill Pond; MBC Ranch Pond via rt.623; rt.625; rt.666; rt.667;
rt.727. He usually gets Golden Eagle
and Rough-legged Hawk on his regular trips to the area but none reported
today. Most of the waterfowl were
found at the MBC Ranch Pond. Here are a few of the more fun birds he found:
Blue-winged Teal 2
Ring-necked Duck 2
Lesser Scaup 4
Bufflehead 2
Pied-billed Grebe 1
Common Raven 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2
Savannah Sparrow 4
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
