A flash of yellow caught my eye in the front yard this morning - coming out of the Kentucky-style Bluebird house! Took a double take and went to investigate - Prothonotary warbler nestlings (3) in a dainty moss nest atop a used House Wren nest made in early spring! Nestlings appear to be a few days old. There appear to be 3 nestlings - both male and female are feeding young. A fine surprise on a summer morning! Susan Hubley Rogersville, Hawkins County
