This evening (6pm) I walked Oseola Island. There was a bird with the geese on the far side of the island, the stretch between the two bridges. Had a long, light orange bill, very curved, orange extending to eye but not solid bright orange, was a bit tan in places. The rest of face and neck was gray, some slight striping or dotting. The back was dark grey to black –very sleek looking and the under tail and abdomen was white. Long legs- looked white for most part, but could have had a bit of yellow lower, closer to feet. Legs were definitely not orange or dark. Thought it might be immature white ibis but the legs are throwing me. Ideas? Thanks, Gail Williams Bristol
