Peregrine 1 Herring Gull 2Ring-billed Gull 2500 (our best estimate--most I have ever seen here) We watched the Peregrine harass the large body of gulls for 15-20 minutes. It swept back and forth over the flock on the water--they fluttered up and settled down again--over and over. It didn't seem that the Peregrine was really hunting them--just harassing them.
