bonfire water level at Musicks 7 March 2015.jpgOuter Banks tree mostly under
water.jpg

The photos above show the "outer banks" area of Musick's Campground (left)
on 7 March 2015 on the evening when Bristol Bird Club birders held their
bonfire to burn the big brush pile before TVA raised the water level to near
full. The photo at the right was taken 10 days ago on 13 April 2015.

South Holston is virtually full compared to the level TVA had hoped to
achieve by this date. Watauga is higher than the target full level the
agency had wanted by this date. Boone Lake, with all of its problems, is 32
feet below the target level.
