Went by Joaquim Bible Refuge after work to check on the owls and found 3 flying
at sundown.  Managed a couple shots in poor light.  Otherwise, there were 13
Redheads and 15-20 Northern Pintails with a coupe Black Ducks and 2 Bufflehead
in a pool just near the dove hunting area.  Also a Shrike in the area.  I
chased a large juvenile Accipiter with a strong white supercilium around for a
while.  It was not as densely barred as I would expect for a goshawk and the
tail band did not appear uneven.  Also, although its size was the first thing I
noticed, I am not sure it was large enough or bulky enough for a goshawk.
Interesting bird, though.
