This morning, there were three Semipalmated Plovers in the construction
retention pond on Hamilton Road. Other species present include Least
Sandpiper, Solitary Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, a singing male Common
Yellowthroat and a flyover pair of Common Ravens.
Also, at the boat ramp on Minga Road, there was a very territorial
Yellow-breasted Chat defending his thicket of flowering blackberries close
to the upper parking lot near the road. Photos are attached.
Good birding,
Cade Campbell
