Recent birds at Steele Creek Park in Bristol, TN include
 
Gadwalls - (5) 12/5
American Wigeon - 12/5
Redhead - 12/6
Ring-necked Duck - 12/6
Wild Turkeys - (5) 12/7
Pied-billed Grebes - (1-2) daily
Great Blue Heron - 12/7
Sharp-shinned Hawk - 12/5
Cooper's Hawk - 12/11
Killdeer - (3) 12/10, (8) 12/11
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - 12/7
Hairy Woodpecker - 12/7
Common Raven - 12/6 (by Jeremy Stout)
American Robins - 12/5
Yellow-rumped Warblers - most days
Savannah Sparrow - 12/10 (first park record)
 
There were several eggs found next to the lodge on 12/10. They are robin size 
and color but could be starling. Starling nest in the lodge rafters and reside 
there year round. One egg is intact, two were cracked. One had a moist embryo.
