Northeast Tennessee Region

Cathy Myers and I birded a bit of everywhere today. Here are some of our better
finds:

Taylor Mill Road (Washington County) :
Blue Grosbeak (1)
Dickcissel (2)

Keebler Road (Washington County) :
Northern Bobwhite (1)
Dickcissel (1)

Flatwoods Road (Sullivan County) :
Kentucky Warbler (1) - located about 0.1-0.2 miles northeast of the Big Creek
Road crossing.

Highway 421-Holston Mountain (Sullivan County) :
Prairie Warbler (1) - singing at the pull-off just a few feet above mile-marker
33. We only checked a couple of pull-offs, but the recovering burned areas look
like good Prairie habitat.

Quarry Bog-Shady Valley (Johnson County) :
Sora (1)
Greater Yellowlegs (1)
Willow Flycatcher (3)
Common Raven (1)
