Hello Bristol Birders,

This morning, September 28, Judy Roach and Mary Erwin arrived at
Musick's Lakeside Campground at 8:50 am to see what Tropical Storm
Jeanne might have brought in. Just a few minutes later, we were joined
by Reece Jamerson, Howard Langridge, and Gil Derouen. Looking to the
left island, Judy found a Greater yellowlegs. Also present was 1
Spotted sandpiper, 3 Forster's terns and 1 Osprey. The rain was just
ending when we left at 9:45.

We went to South Holston Dam, but could not go to the dam overlook
because the access road beyond the Weir dam is blocked. The sign
indicates a construction zone and allows no other traffic.

Mary Erwin
