At the parking area underneath I-181 bridges, there is a colony of
chimney swifts with over 80 nests, mostly under the west side of
southbound span just as you enter the parking area. There also is a
wetland between the park and the settling ponds to the east of there ---
on the other side of the beach volleyball court. There were Red-winged
Blackbirds and Lesser Yellowlegs (6) in that marshy area.

Heritage Park is on Riverport Road between Ridgefields Road and Wilcox
Drive. The entrance to the park is a single lane bridge that is directly
across from Evergreen Garden Center.
