SATURDAY, June 12 Summer Bird Count, Carter County. Group leaders and areas
are set up for the count. Contact your leader for time and place to meet for
your count area. If you would like to participate and weren't at the meeting
Tuesday to get into a group for the count, or if you need contact information
to get in touch with your group leader, please contact me by email or phone,
and we'll work it out.
Nightjar Survey, Tuesday evening, June 22 This will be in the late
evening--time and meeting place to follow.
CLUB PICNIC Friday, July 9, at 6 p.m. at Rotary Park in Johnson City,
Harris Pavilion. This is the pavilion nearest the parking lot, which is off
Broadway Ave.
Drinks, Sloppy Joes, plates, cups, utensils and napkins will be provided.
Bring a side dish (vegetables, salad, desert, etc.) to share. All are invited
and welcome.
NOTE There will NOT be a regular club meeting on the first Tuesday in July
(July 6)--the PICNIC will be held Friday, July 9, instead of the regular
meeting.
NOTE The August meeting will not be a regular meeting, but a dinner and
planning session. Tentative date is August 3 (first Tuesday of August)--time
and location to follow.
Dates for the fall field trip to South Carolina (tentatively, Charleston to
possibly Savannah) Friday, October 15 to Monday, October 18. More information
to follow.
