CLUB SUMMER COUNT in CARTER COUNTY: The club's regular Summer Bird Count in
Carter County will be THIS SATURDAY, June 4. Groups and approximate areas
follow:

If you are interested in participating, contact me or the first member listed
for the group of your choice. Meeting time and starting location for each
group will be determined by the group. Compilation for this count will be at
the regular club meeting the following Tuesday, June 7.
REGULAR JUNE CLUB MEETING: The regular June meeting of the club will be
TUESDAY, June 7, at 7:00 p.m. at the Science Building (usual spot) at Milligan
College.
Meeting activities will include:
1. PLANNING the CLUB PICNIC to be held Friday, July 8
2. COMPILATION of the results of the Summer Count
3. Setting time and place for a third NIGHTJAR SURVEY in June
4. Review of information for the TOS/Bristol Bird Club and Herndon Bird
Club Shady Valley Foray on Friday-Sunday, June 10-12.
Preceding the June 7th meeting, some club members will meet at Bellicino's in
Johnson City at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and socializing. Bellicino's is on South
Roan in the Food City parking lot. All are invited to the meeting and to
Bellicino's to eat before the meeting.
SHADY VALLEY FORAY: June 10-12, Friday-Sunday. More information on the

CLUB PICNIC: The Herndon Bird Club annual picnic will be held on Friday, July
8 in the evening at the Harris Pavilion in Rotary Park on Broadway in Johnson
City. Details will be planned at the Club's regular June meeting on Tuesday,
June 7.
