The Herndon Bird Club will have its Christmas Party Tuesday, Dec. 18. The
party will be hosted by Gil and Mary Derouen at their residence at 2702
Avondale Drive in Johnson City. The party begins at 6:00 p.m.--the Derouens
will provide drinks. Bring a plate of finger food to share. The Club will
compile the results of the Elizabethton CBC (held Saturday, Dec. 15) and the
Roan Mountain CBC (held Sunday, Dec. 16) as part of the Christmas Party
activities.
The Derouen residence may be reached by turning into Ferndale Rd. off Peoples
Rd. on the NE side of Johnson City. When Ferndale makes a tee junction with
Avondale, turn right and go several blocks, until you get to 2702 on the right.
Alternatively, on the north side of Johnson City, coming south on State of
Franklin Rd., turn east on Knob Creek Rd., continue past Peoples Rd., and turn
left at the next intersection, Lizabeth Dr. After one block, it makes a tee
junction with Avondale--turn right and you will soon see 2702 on your left.
