2012 Bristol Christmas Bird Count party areas.
The Bristol Christmas Bird Count is set for Sunday, Dec 30, 2012.
If you plan to participate, pick out an area you would like to help
count in and contact the leader of the area by email and tell them
you want to go in their party. The leader will then tell you what time
and where to meet to begin surveying in their count area. Birders
in an area work in a single party and the leader sees to it a list is
kept and reported for the entire count compilation. You will not be
sent off alone. You will not be splintered out into a separate party
within the area. New birders and new Christmas count participants
are not placed under pressure. You can hang with the group and
participate at whatever level you wish. Starting with this year,
there is no fee to be paid for participating with any count.
