On my way home from work today (Aug. 21) I saw a Great Egret foraging in a
small pond located near Lamar School in Washington County, TN, along the
highway
between Jonesborough and Erwin.
What's a little funny is that I've been thinking to myself for the past few
days: "I've seen Great Blue and Green Herons at this pond. Why can't an egret
make an appearance?"

Well, now one has done just that!
