[Bristol-Birds] Forster's Terns, 7 Sparrow species

Gil Derouen, Kathy Noblet, and I birded the Austin Springs area and water areas in Sullivan County today. Summary:

Austin Springs:
Red-tailed Hawk              1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet         1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher        1
Am. Kestrel                  1
Purple Martin 4 Martin houses on Edgefield Rd. north of Hwy 11E
Field Sparrow                2
Swamp Sparrow                1
Song Sparrow                 2
Savannah Sparrow             2
White-throated Sparrow       3
White-crowned Sparrow        3

Paddle Creek:
Blue-winged Teal             3
Chipping Sparrow             3
Also a Southern Fox Squirrel (white nose)  haven't seen one here before

S. Holston Lake Dam overlook
Common Loon                  4          3 in breeding plumage

Rooty Branch Rd. Beaver Dam area:
Blue-winged Teal             8
Wood Duck                    4
Green Heron                  2
Great Blue Heron             1

Pemberton Rd.:
Am. Kestrel                  1

Hwy 421 Boat Launch area:
Bonaparte's Gull             5
Forster's Tern               2
Pileated Woodpecker          1

Observation Knob Park Rd.:
Cooper's Hawk                1
also 3 White-tailed Deer lying in the shade of a tree in the campground

Musick's Campground:
Common Loon                  9
Horned Grebe                 3             2 in breeding plumage
Red-breasted Merganser       5
Great Blue Heron             2
Bald Eagle                   1    adult
Bonaparte's Gull            20

Middlebrook Lake:
Ring-billed Gull             5
also 3 White-tailed Deer working their way up the hill on the north hillside bank of the lake

Hwy 394:
Red-tailed Hawk              1
