Yesterday, April 13, Pete Range & I crossed paths with Roy's group several
times and observed the same species of birds his group had located. After Pete
and I left Dry Creek Rd, we headed towards Erwin on Arnold Rd, which runs
alongside the Nolichucky River, where we located 4 Common Mergansers resting on
rocks out in the river. There was one male & 3 females. We also had
Yellow-throated Warblers that were not seen on Dry Creek Rd.
