Friday (3/21) afternoon at Musick's Campground, South Holston Lake, TN:
Blue-winged Teal 1 adult male
Red-breasted Merganser 1 adult male
Double-crested Cormorant 2
Lesser Scaup 12
Horned Grebe 2
Ring-billed Gull ~ 100
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Middlebrook Lake, Bristol, TN:
Ring-necked Duck 20
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Great Blue Heron 1 (likely not mated)
South Holston Weir Dam:
Bufflehead 16
Pemberton Oak Rd. Heronry (Sullivan Co.):
quick scan saw about four or five Great Blue Heron nests active.
