I've located a large nest in the forks of a shaggy-barked hickory. It's at the top of a small ridge not particularly close to water (2 miles or so) I don't know how to describe my impression of the size but maybe 20 inches across. (Rough guess based on tree size) It's a new construction with a lot of fresh twig and vine material in the base and the nest is not neatly constructed. The center of the nest is lined in bright green, my guess is moss. Does anyone know how I could research this nest?
