Yeah, the combat systems before Deadly Alliance were extremely simple, even up to mk4. I think they only introduced combos in mk3, and even those were very, very basic. But at least we had fatalities, right? ----- Original Message ----- From: <chou.clement@xxxxxxxxx>

I can't disagree with that. Tekken does have a very deep system. And I guess the mk fighting system isn't simple... at least the ones with fighting styles aren't. lol. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shadow Dragon" <elementalultima@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Yeah, sound effects definitely aren't everything, though they do help a lot. Tekken is a pretty deep game, even if they haven't updated the audio since like tekken 3. And from the trailers I've heard of tekken 6 it doesn't sound like that changed. However, I still fully intend to get the game when it comes out regardless. As for MK, I wouldn't clal its battle system simple, you just have to know how to use it. Now MK versus DC, that combat system has potential to be very simple, especially since they took out fighting styles and weapon combat.
