Kind of crazy awesome. The PS4 is the direct result of Sony learning their
lessons. All the reasons the Xbox360 beat them, they've gone above and
beyond to answer right back. Much like the 360, PS4 controllers will
finally have headset ports, and PS4's will come with headsets. They're
also virtually getting rid of the slow update process by having updates
download in the background of just about everything to a flash memory
source, then install when they can. They also say launching a game takes
almost no time at all, and when you're downloading a game from PSN, you
can now start playing it within a couple minutes of starting the download,
and it will continue to download in the background. That's not even
everything. Expect another blog post on this later.

I am constantly reading about this stuff from multiple perspectives. I
read tons of news articles, I read every review and first impression
that I can find looking for any little nugget of information. In fact,
when I look at it like that, I kinda sound a little crazy. Ah well.

Kinda looks like it, doesn't it? And Soren, regarding your comment,
while you're right about the later PS3's not being backwards
compatible, the direct comparison I was trying to make was between the
Xbox One and PS4. Sony is attempting to make their entire library of
PS1, PS2, and PS3 games available on the cloud, and you might be able
to register the games you own so you can also have access to them
there. That's a far better deal than the Xbox One.
