[BNU] Wanting to experiment with EMail on the Apex but

HI guys
Ok the thing is this: since around the time I got my IPhone since it's
via IMap, I changed here on my PC to IMap, thus I have lots of Important
EMails in the Important Folder online; I'm aware that the Apex only
works GMail Pop, thus I wonder, if I try to see how the EMail works,
will I loos all the Important Mail once the Pop EMail downloads onto the
Apex? Do you guys with PC and/or cellphones, use your Apex for EMails,
or do you prefer using PC or cellphones?
