Hi all,
Clare, you asked what the advantage is of getting a BrailleNote Touch.
As I don't have one, and have only started listening to the tutorial
and reading its manual, I can only repeat what Humanware is saying.
Humanware says that since the Touch is a registered tablet with Google,
you have access to all kinds of aps. In addition, you have the freedom
of a tablet and also the familiarity of keysoft. According to them,
the connectivity is much better, and the word processor has been
totally rewritten so that it only accepts mainstream file types. It
doesn't accept Keysoft documents, and they must be exported to .RTF or
.txt. Note, when the Apex says .doc, it actually means .rtf. I have
no idea why they do that, but they do.
That's all I can tell you, sorry. I have never seen a Touch. I'm
certainly intrigued.
