If the first character in an element is a space, the braille translation
does not have a space, but that space is included in the braille indexes.
For example, so the first three indexes are 0 1 1, even though the space at
zero is not in the braille translation. If the configuration setting of
"paragraphs no" is used so that no formatting is included then the first
character in the braille translation is correctly a space. However, if
braille formatting is included, if the first space is not included. It
just seems that the newline element before the text is replacing that
space. I was just hoping that observation might help point you in the
right direction.
