[brailleblaster] More on the "Braille font not found" glitch

I'm probably in the best position to debug the crash in DocumentBase ,
but this glitch prevents me from reaching it. Here is more information.
I am using Cygwin . It comes with Java, ant and everything. I added the
line
newNotify (fontPath);
just before the one that displays the not found message. The font path
was correct. However, when I pressed OK I was put back in the console
window with a cursor and no prompt. It is actually the Notify class that
is failing.
Next I tried the old BrailleBlaster. No problem. There is something in
newdesign that causes the failure.
Incidentally, if I could get to the crash in DocumentBase I would use
Notify to display the paths to the various files, particularly to the
configuration file.
