It sure sounds like it.
Can you run the LibLouis tools and see if it works there? Perhaps I can try to
run something through that table and see what LibLouis gives me.

Yes, I tried using the Portugese translation grades 1 and 2 tables and did get
output when I ran the command line.
Does this mean that there is some issue with the tables that I have previously
been using?

Seems like that should work.
Have you tried any other tables? We've mostly worked with the English tables
and so there probably needs to be more testing to be sure other languages work.

Hi Folks
I am new to BrailleBlaster and would like some assistance please.
I have downloaded the most recent version and when I open the
Braille/Translation Templates menu and tab to Translation Settings I can
select one of two languages - English (US) or English (GB).
My question is how would I transcribe a file in say Welsh into Grade 2 Welsh.
I have tried doing this from the command line with the instruction
java -jar brailleblaster.jar translate -f c:\users\owner\liblouisutdml.ini
infile.txt outfile.txt
But the file outfile.txt is coming out empty.
In the liblouisutdml.ini file I have set literarytexttable to cy-cy-g2.ctb.
When I set this to en-gb-g2.ctb or en-us-g2.ctb the file outfile.txt is
populated.
Any assistance is gratefully appreciated.
