So the jar files that I couldn't find to place in the lib folder and the
libraries that I couldn't find to compile are not necessary right now but
will be in the future. Is that right? How do I get them once they are
needed?
One thing that I think needs attention quickly when you are able to get back
on Braille Blaster is the file open/save dialog. It is so sluggish with
screen readers that it is nearly unusable. You almost have to type in the
full path manually. You are probably used to that as a command line user,
but us Windows folks aren't. We browse to the correct folder and then save
the file. When opening a file, we browse to the file and press enter on it.
At least that is how I do it.

As usual, thanks for testing. I'm copying my reply and your original
message to the list, because it might encourage others.
I'm still busy with bugs in liblouis and liblouisutdml When those are
squashed I'll get back to BrailleBlaster for a while.
When you open a large file, BrailleBlaster reads and translates the
whole thing. However it only displays one screenful, or halff a screen,
because scrolling hasn't been implemented yet.
The libraries in the lib folder are jar files. They can't be placed in
the repository because they are binary. Some of them are not used yet.
It's great that you were able to find the essential ones in the old BB.
