Openbook 7 and above should be able to handle zip files. Kurzweil 9 and up can do the same thing and even treats them like subfolders. These are standard, plain Jane zips that just have your Bookshare password on them. Windows XP and Vista can open zips without any special software. You can also choose to use a number of third party zip programs to do things like unzip files in batches. 7Zip is free and very easy to use. So is Iceows. WinZip and Power Archiver are shareware programs that you pay more after using a 30-day demo.
