Are you asking about finding your place. When you leave the file and
then go back to it, it starts at the top of the page where you left
off.

well I am putting a book on my scanner and scanning each page so I

If I understand your question correctly, you just open the file in
K1000
or whatever you are using, then start scanning the next page of
the book
right where you left off. It will put the new pages where they
should
go - after the ones you saved before. I've done this many times
with
K1000 and OpenBook before that, as I often don't scan a book in
one
sitting.
