Hi, after two attempts, I submitted And the Journey Begins by Cyril Axelrod.
Cyril was born deaf in South Africa to a Jewish family. He tells of his
physical journey as he looses his vision and becomes blind. He also takes on
his spiritual journey as he is educated in a Catholic school for the deaf,
embrases his Jewish faith, and later becomes a Catholic priest. He has
served the deaf community, and now is working with the Deafblind. It was an
interesting read.
