Hi Shannon, When a book has a d before the file extension, that means it's a Daisy book. When there's a b, it's a brf book. Unfortunately, none of the components of a Daisy file are going to open in Real Player. There are programs that can be used to turn Daisy files into mp3 files that can be read with Real Player, or many other media players. If you are interested in learning how to do this, please let us know and the experts will chime in with some step by step instructions and advice. Hth, Kellie
