It is confusing. I guess I was paying more attention because this is a large
book. I just downloaded that Hawaii book that Don Horn was talking about,
about two days ago, because he felt the commercial narration on the BARD
version was so bad, and I honestly can't remember what the choice said
because I wasn't concerned about it and wasn't paying attention.

Okay Miriam, then apparently although it says Audio, it defaults to Daisy
Audio if that is what you have in your Preferences.
Still, I think it should be clearer. I always download in braille, so I
don't look at that much.

Thanks. But I just got the answer because when one downloads in that format,
one has to wait for an email, saying that the book is ready. The email just
arrived and it says that the book is in daisy audio. So it may be that when
I download other books, the choice that comes up says only audio, not daisy
audio. I really can't remember. At any rate, this thing is in daisy audio.
It's actually just a very nice synthetic voice reading text to speech, much
pleasanter to listen to than even the voices on the newer versions of the VR
Stream.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you. I've checked half a dozen books,
including a few that I scanned myself with headers and I can't get any of
them to come up with Daisy Audio. I went into my preferences and made sure
it was set to Daisy Audio, but no books that I've checked so far will say
Daisy Audio when I go through the combo box of download formats I can choose
from. I never download in any audio format, so this is the first I've heard
about this.
I'll write to some people and see what I can find out.

In spite of my relunctance to read the thing, I did go to the link to the
unadorned version. Usually, I get the daisy audio format. However, when I
got to the link which was on My Bookshare page, it just said, "audio". So
should I assume that because of the size or something, this version is in
plain MP3 and not daisy audio?

categories, that one is also in the Humor category, which the actual Meuller
