[bookshare-discuss] Re: Resubmissions was The Hornet's nest

Well, I've been curious about it and thinking I want
to read it. Put it on the download list, and if nobody
has taken it by the time I've finished what I
'm working on, I'll give it a try. If I, like you,
can't get into it, I'll release it too. At least,
though, I'll do a spell-check and look for known
scannos like thenumber one for capital I, the letter m
for in, etc., and I can eyeball scan it. So far I
think there have been only two books I couldn't get
into. One was also one of those with lots or errors
that had been languishing on the list forever. That
one I rejected. The book I'm doing now is another one
of those but I'm enjoying the plot, so I don't mind
scanning missing pages and filling in words in almost
every sentence (a slight exaggeration, but very
slight)

The other book was Medieval Italy-- I finally gave up
reading word for word and just did a spell-check,
looked for dates to correct and footnotes, and
eyeball-scanned. I have saved it in case anyone reads
it and needs to have anything corrected.
