History book club selection for June 1
All,
For the next history book club meeting, scheduled for Sunday, June 1, at 9
P.M. EDT, we will read and discuss:
Courtesans and Fishcakes: The Consuming Passions of Classical Athens by
James N. Davidson
This book is, of course, available on Bookshare.org, and should prove a fun
and revealing read for the summer season... In year all about democracy, we
will take a cultural historical look at the city where it all began.
