I installed it on my laptop because I use it more, and that way, I will actually scan more books that way because I hate to be in the room with the big computer after work. My only snafu was that I couldn't find my openbook to transfer it to the laptop and install it out here on my laptop. I called FS, and they are sending me a replacement for $20. I can't beat that. So, I am using a 30-day trial for now, but hey, it's useable for 30 days, and my copy will be here again in a week. So I am scanning a book that I checked and is not on bookshare. I didn't check to see if it was scanned and not validated, but I know it's not on bookshare. It is Christian fiction, which most of you know is my genre. It's by Tracie Peterson, and it's the first book of the Belles of Lowell series, "Daughter of the Loom." Just something to look forward to. Also, in celebration of my scanner, my hubby bought me three books. He got me "Cassidy" the first book in a new series by Lori Wick called big Sky Dreams. I haven't checked, but I doubt it's on since it just came out. I also got the first book in Ladies of liberty by Tracie Peterson and the second book in a series by her that I read the first book by audio.so at least For the first two, since They're first in the series, if no one has gotten them yet to scan, you don't have to because they're ordered, and I'll be getting them soon and be putting them up. Just trying to save others money, although I know some use the library <smile> Have a blessed day, Nicki We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank Email to bookshare-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the Subject line.
