I am way behind on email, but a while back someone was looking for Memoirs of People Blind From Birth. One of my favorites is FRIENDSHIPS IN THE DARK by Phyllis Campbell She was Born blind on a tiny Virginia farm at the height of the Great Depression. The reader will follow her struggles at the School for the Blind, as she trains with her first guide dog, and as she later marries. I guess I was drawn to this book, because like the author I was never without animals growing up, and it was only natural for me to have a guide dog. I would highly reccomend this book. Happy reading! Jennifer
